Dagsedlarna spelar country, folk, progg och rock med svenska texter. I den stålsträngade, dammiga ljudbilden tvingas svårmod ihop med framtidshopp från förr i tiden. Låtarna är moraliserande personporträtt, naturskildringar, dravel, om kadaver som ruttnar, sädesärlor och ormskinnsboots.
